Your Nurse

Most colleges have a college Nurse. Most nurses will operate surgery hours in the college during full term. You may wish to visit the college Nurse yourself to inform him/her of any preexisting conditions on arrival, such as asthma or ME. College Nurses are medically trained and are also caring members of the college community. Their role is to look out for your welfare: physical and mental. However, they cannot provide prescriptions, so it is still necessary to register with a GP.

For more information on the role of college Nurses and to check whether your college has a Nurse, please visit the University's Student Wellbeing page on College Nurses which can be found here
