About: Voice Ability is a national charity that operates to ensure that people marginalised for their disability or mental ill health have a voice, and the same rights and opportunities as others about important decisions in their life. At the core of this is the advocacy support they provide. It provides support for carers and people with learning, physical or sensory disabilities, including those on the autistc spectrum.

They provide a free, independent and confidential advocacy service to support adult carers (with or without disability or mental ill health) of other adults living in Cambridgeshire who have issues/problems relating to their caring role which they are finding difficult to resolve.

They support carers to find information so that they can make informed decisions about the choices available to them, which could be to make a complaint, challenge decisions, or access services or benefits. They are a user led service supporting carers to have a voice.
